Global Ecclectic – A blend of world rhythms and jazz performed in five languages. A Chic, world music ensemble that plays an intoxicating range of music, from European Lounge to Middle Eastern rhythms. Members of the band hail from Columbia, Venezuela, Sri Lanka, and the Phillipines, as well as from different corners of the US. Lead by Grammy-winning woodwind player Rick Rossi and featuring multi-lingual vocalist and songwriter Rebecca Kyler Downs.

In these times when Salsa, Cuban Son and different types of rhythms are continuing to evolve, the very traditional Cuban Charangoa is well kept by very few orchestras. Fay Rberts and Charangoa have appeared in some of L.A’s top venues, KTTV’s ‘Good day L.A. and many different festivals throughout Los Angeles.

ROXANNE BECK began her singing career at the age of three, when she performed “Would You Like to Swing on a Star” in a college talent show. Now a singer, actor and writer with credits from New York to Nashville to Los Angeles, Roxanne is an exceptionally versatile performer.
After earning a B.A. in English at Harding College, Roxanne headed for Nashville, where she started out doing demo and session work. She sang in clubs like theBluebird Cafe and was a back-up singer on The Grand Ole Opry. After earning her Equity card at Tennessee Repertory Theatre, Roxanne moved to New York, where she did musical theatre and cabaret and continued to develop her distinctive vocal style. She studied acting at the Stella Adler Conservatory and performed at venues like Carnegie Hall, Town Hall, and Chris Noth’s Cutting Room. In New York she honed her songwriting skills and released an album of original material,“Garden of Love,” which earned comparisons to Nashville refugees Lucinda Williams and Lyle Lovett (The Westchester County Weekly); her single “Baby I Do“received airplay on radio stations like New York’s influential WFUV.

Our mission is to play great music for a wide range of events. We enjoy performing in Community, Corporate, and Club environments. Jazz, Blues, Latin, Rock, Soul, Disco, Reggae, Irish, Country, Folk, Surf, we do it all. We regularly perform in configurations ranging from discrete duets to a six piece party band. I have 20 years experience as variety bandleader, vocalist, guitarist, bassist, and teacher. My band mates have toured and recorded with everyone from The Temptations to Hannah Montana to Brian Setzer.

In-demand sax player Kirk Tracy and former Beverly Hills 90210 actress Nicole Tracy lead their 5-piece band playing a high energy blend of swing, blues, classic country, rock n’ roll, ska, and latin music. They have performed regularly from the House of Blues stage in Hollywood to clubs, casinos, theaters, festivals, and special events across 15 states in the US.
